The documents you need for vehicle finance depend on whether you go full-doc or low-doc. Here’s the checklist.
Low-doc
For eligible asset-backed low-doc deals, you’ll typically need your ID, ABN and GST details, and the vehicle’s details — plus a simple declaration. Some lenders ask for recent bank statements or BAS (lite-doc), which can sharpen the rate.
Full-doc
For the lowest rates and larger limits, lenders want full financials: recent tax returns, financial statements and BAS. Established operators with up-to-date books get the best pricing and borrowing power this way.
